We recognize that your privacy is very important. This privacy policy covers Eda Group, LLC, a Florida corporation dba RentMyDress (“RentMyDress”) policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use, access and initiate transactions on and the related mobile application marketplace platform (the “Platform”) and the software and services made available through the Platform (collectively the “Services”).

Each time you access the Platform and/or utilize our Services, you consent to the collection, use and storage of the collected information as described in this Privacy Policy.   Please read it carefully and contact us  if you have any questions.

1. What information is collected and how is it used?

Account Creation Information: Users may register through either their existing Facebook account or with an email and password.  Your account registration information will be utilized to (i) verify your account upon account creation, (ii) provide technical, service-related and marketing communications regarding our Services; and/or (iii) communicate material changes to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.  By establishing an account, you grant permission to other users to send notifications and messages to you within the Platform.

User Profile.  Content input by users to establish a Profile on the Platform is viewable by other users on the Platform to facilitate the exchange of communications necessary for the purchase or rental of Products on the Platform.

Cookies:  RentmyDress may utilizes cookie technology to gather information on use of our Platform in order to serve you more effectively.  Usage of cookies is in no way linked to personally identifiable information.  You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies; however some Services may not work properly without cookies.

2.     Is Information Collected by or Disclosed to Third Parties?

RentmyDress is not responsible for the practices employed by third party sites linked to or from our Platform, or the information or content contained therein. Your use and interaction with such third party sites and services is subject to that third party’s own rules and policies.

Account Registration:  Users may register their account through their existing Facebook account. Users should click on the hyperlink(s) to review the applicable privacy policies for more detail about information collected from your applicable social media account.

Owner Links: Owners are not allowed to insert their own and third-party website links to their Profile in publicizing their Products and brand. But in the case it happens, RentmyDress does not control the data collection or privacy practices of such links, and users are encouraged to report and review the privacy policies of such websites for a better understanding of their practices.

Analytics.   RentMyDress utilizes certain third party analytics to understand products and purchase trends and to provide targeted advertising to users in accordance with their purchasing practices, as follows:

· Google Analytics.  RentmyDress uses Google Analytics and AdWords in order to collect marketing analytics about the pages you browse on the Platform when you undertake specific actions through our Services.  This is to provide you a customized, targeted advertising experience. The collected information is anonymized, meaning it cannot be tracked back to individuals.  Information is collected by Google Analytics in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.  If you do not want your data to be used by Google Analytics, you may opt-out by installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

· Criteo. RentmyDress utilizes’s for predictive advertising solutions. When using the Platform, you consent to cookie (or other tracking technologies) dropping by Criteo for the purpose of serving targeted advertising.   Users may view Criteo’s data collection and use practices, and elect to opt-out by reviewing Criteo’s Privacy Policy and Opt-Out Options.

Third Party & Social Media Plug-Ins Marketing:  RentmyDress also integrates with third party websites for the purposes of marketing its Products and Services and allows users to share their experiences through designated social media plug-ins on the Platform, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.  Users should click on the hyperlinks to review the applicable privacy policies for more detail about information collected from these third party services.

Customer Communications:  RentmyDress may utilizes Mail Chimp to assist in customizing its email marketing campaigns to its customers. Users should review Mail Chimp’s Privacy Policy for more information about their data collection and use practices.

Advertising Opt-out:  You can also learn more about how to opt-out by browsing the Network Advertising Initiative website located at  In addition, you may block some or all browsing ads, by using tools such as ad-blockers and browser plug-ins.

Shipping Information:  The Platform collects a Customer’s shipping information and provides to Owners to facilitate the shipment of Products between Owners and Customer. Owners will share Customer’s shipping information with shipping carriers to process orders and delivery.

Payment Processing Information. RentmyDress will collect payment processing information, including bank account for direct transfers, credit/debit card number, expiration date, verification code and billing name and address for credit card processing, or third party payment processing accounts to process payments through the Platform.   RentmyDress does not itself store debit, credit card or designated bank account information on its servers.  RentmyDress utilizes a third party payment processor, Stripe, to manage and process payments in order to guarantee the security of your information. Users should review the Stripe Privacy Policy for more information on their data collection practices.

Web Server:  RentmyDress stores data on Godaddy  in the United States.  Please see GoDaddy’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Other Potential Third Party Disclosures: Information may also be disclosed to third parties (1) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; (2) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, or (3) if RentmyDress is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify users (i) about law enforcement or court ordered requests for data unless otherwise prohibited by law, or (ii) if your personal information is to be disclosed or transferred and/or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

3. How Does RentmyDress Comply with the Children’s Online Privacy    Protection Act?

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected] We will delete such information from our files within a commercially reasonable time.

4. How long does RentmyDress retain information collected?

We will retain account data for a commercially reasonable time and as we deem necessary to provide our Services to our users. If you would like us to delete your registered account information, please contact us at [email protected]  and we will respond in a reasonable time. 


5. What is RentmyDress’ Security Policy?

We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, destruction or alteration. However, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can ever be 100% secure.

RentmyDress utilizes only PCI-DSS compliant third party payment processors to ensure the security of your personal information. Users should read Stripe’s Security Policy for more information on their security practices.

6.  How Does the Platform Respond to “Do Not Track” Signals?

“Do Not Track” is a feature enabled on some browsers that sends a signal to request that a website disable its tracking or cross-site user tracking. At present, the Platform does not respond to or alter its practices when a Do Not Track signal is received.

7. How Will I Be Notified of Changes to Your Privacy Policy?

If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we will notify you either by: (i) changing the Effective Date at the top of the Privacy Policy, (ii) sending an email to our account holders, and/or (iii) adding a statement to the Platform.

You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
